Kitchen Organization That CHANGES EVERYTHING ✨ Budget & Renter-Friendly Solutions for ANY Space✨

One of the things I was oddly excited about in our new home was the kitchen. I was moving from my custom-designed kitchen to this stock builder-grade one with some questionable storage choices. But this strangely excited me because I love a good organizational challenge! It’s a big part of what inspired me to start my journey in making content online. We plan to live with this kitchen pretty much as-is for a few years, so I have to make it work for us. So today, join me as I unpack and organize our new kitchen, sharing smart organization ideas even for trickier spaces. This is perfect if you’re currently renting or have a tricky-to-organize kitchen and don’t have the budget to remodel. Let’s get creative together!

  1. Funny enough, I first found this channel because I was struggling with my kitchen storage. I love all the adjustable storage ideas! I don’t know how many times I’ve bought organizers only to get them home and realize that they’re 1/2 inch too small for the space I have, so these are perfect. Also, turning the plate risers on their sides is genius. 🤯

  2. Please don’t use plastic. I know it can be hard, but there are bamboo and wood options. We need to help our planet 🙏 ❤️

  3. Would you still recommend the adjustable pan organizer? I have a cabinet where I store primarily my stone bakeware and nothing wants to hold them vertical because of the weight. Do you feel that this item has held up well?

  4. Try storing the containers in larger containers of the same, like small square containers with lids on inside larger square containers with the lids on

  5. I didn’t know you changed your channel name!! Lol I was expecting "but first coffee" when I Heard the whistle tune😂 cute new name!!

  6. FYI you actually do NOT need so many cleaning supplies! Try to minimize them. I normally use one soap for everything. Sometimes a use a scrub soap or a bit stronger one if absolutely needed. Marketing wants us to believe we need one specific supply for one specific thing – so not true. I have only soaps etc. that are good to me and the environment – they function beautifully! No need for 8 different ones that harm more than anything (both your economy and your health)

  7. The house we are currently living in has an open bar above the sink and dishwasher. That means when we empty the dishwasher, we have to walk across the kitchen to put dishes away. Any suggestions for cutting down the time and space for getting our clean dishes put away?

  8. Great ideas but unless you have child safety locks on your doors I would not store my dishwasher pods in a cupboard that young children can access. My granddaughter had a drink of dishwashing liquid because it looked like cordial and the dishwashing pods are very pretty colours that a child would be attracted to. 😊

  9. Love the ‘shortcut to your brain’ !!! 😁… and using the corner organiser on it’s side is truly inspired.

  10. I absolutely love your practical organization and cleaning suggestions. So glad I found your channel

  11. Oh my…. I have been watching through many house changes, babies and you tube name changes…I feel like you are my daughter and love seeing you and your family grow…. I am just getting back to videos after a long absence so I am playing catch up…. Thanks for sharing & your 60+ audience loves you!!!!

  12. OMG I feel you!!! ❤❤❤ It happened to me too!!!! So frustrating!!! I finally got my dream kitchen and after two years I got pregnant with our third and now we’re in rental appartment with small kitchen that sucks!!! 😭😭😭

  13. All these tips were absolutely amazing. Thanks so very much. Can’t wait to use as many of these as I can. 🤩❤

  14. This might be the most helpful video I’ve ever seen! We have a small kitchen and I can’t wait to use these ideas to organize the mess.

  15. Kali, i love how ”real” mom you are, your like us with kiddos, house not perfect, s’all good – even rocking a little dead fly in your kitchen blender b-roll. <3 you so much!!

  16. Storing food storage/Tupperwear with their lids is a no-brainer. Why would one separate them?😅 Good tips in here!

  17. I started storing all my containers with the lids on a really long time ago and i didn’t care if it took more space or not.
I was so tired of hearing family members complain they couldn’t find lids lol.
One day i was like, thats it. I threw away EVERYTHING that didn’t have a lid and i threw out lids that didnt go to anything.
And i found out what those were by putting the lids on everything to see what was left over.
I then made it an official rule that nothing is to get put away without its lid.
    We’ve never looked back.

  18. All ideas are great but I would also recommend lining shelves in your cabinets. This will help protect the wood and for those that have dark interior cabinets a white liner would also help brighten inside

  19. Great video!!! I would LOVE some ideas on storing makeup palettes, especially large ones. I have 22(!!!) of them and need some ideas!

  20. I started putting my tall trash bags in the bottom of my kitchen trash can. It’s very handy since they are right where you use them.
